Eye Liner
The function of these cosmetics is to make lashes look thicker, so eyes look bigger and brighter, providing an intense look.
There are 3 types of eye liners:
- Pencil: It is the most common presentation. It is used to draw a line at root of lashes. It can be blended away to get a softer look. There are also retractile pencils.
Tip has to be soft and firm, to slide it easily, but not too soft or excessively dry, to avoid broken tips.
- Liquid eye liner: There are not very used. Usually they come in a small bottle with incorporated brush. There are difficult to use, and once they are applied, cannot be easily erased. It is better to avoid this type of eye liner, if you are not an experienced professional. They make the look harder, since color is more intense.
- Powder: This type of eye liner easily slides with tears.
Persons with eye sensibility generally choose this type of eye liners.
Eye liners have to be chosen taking into account age, color of the eyes, skin type, etc. It is also important to remember that black tones make the look harder and eyes smaller, but also have positive effects, giving force and intensity to the look and straightening eye lines. On the other hand, white tones make eyes look slightly bigger and provide a relaxed effect.
