Make Up 20th Century (’30)
Light color foundation (1 or 2 tones lighter than skin). No volume corrections. Make up was fixed with powder.
- Brown or black line was drawn on the upper lid, broaden with a small triangle at the external part of the lid. This descending line gave a sad and fallen look to the eye. Lower lid was drawn in brown and interior line of lower lid in white.
- Draw on the upper lid an open banana with brown pencil. Blend it away. For a long wearing effect, apply brown shadow over the banana. Finally, apply lash mask on upper and lower lashes (avoid excessive application).
- Eye brows are thin and rounded with a downwards tendency. Color shall not be too dark. It would be ideal to cover eye brows with wax and a thick foundation. Eye brows should disappear completely from the face.
- Thin lips in brown or red tones.
- Apply light brown brush in circles right below cheekbones.
